Adapted from The Organic Dog Biscuit Cookbook by Bubba Rose Biscuit Company

  • 1 lb of chicken liver (juice included) or beef liver
  • 1 cup rice flour

Preheat oven to 250° F. Puree liver in food processor (or blender) and mix in rice flour. Line a large baking sheet with foil or parchment and lightly spray with non-stick cooking spray. Pour the mixture onto the baking sheet and spread smooth with wet hands or a wet spoon. Bake for 1 hour. Turn off oven, leave door closed, and leave to sit overnight in oven. In the morning turn the leather out of the pan, peel off the liner, and cut the thin layer into small squares. I make a double batch because it does stink up the house; your dogs are worth it, though! Put it in the freezer and just take out what you need for a day.
